I got in a little over 6 pages worth woman! lol. this is actually kind of hard because you want to keep going with some of them once the music stops. I jes started and ended up doing some Tifa/Cloud fics. Some of these might not make much sense to those who have never played final fantasy VII.
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
1.) Dreamcatcher by. Secret Garden
Rain drops pelted the ground silently. Cloud stood in the falling precipitation, not caring about his clothes being soaked through. He had other things, or rather questions, on his mind. Things like:
‘Where did I go wrong?’
‘Why am I so weak?’
‘Why couldn’t I be more like him?’
‘Why did she leave me?’
He stared down the driveway, looking at the ring that was slowly being consumed by muddy water. It was the ring that he had given Tifa, his promise to her, the promise that he never kept just like all the others.
“Nothing! Nothing but BROKEN promises!” she had shouted, throwing the piece of silver jewelry onto the ground after much fuss of it being stuck on her finger.
Cloud shivered, droplets fell from his golden strands of hair.
Why couldn’t he move? Why couldn’t he have said something?
Tifa was packed up and gone. Cloud was left alone all over again.
2.) Mystic Voyage by. Gandalf and Over the Rainbow by. Jim Brickman. (Shorter songs)
Flower petals floated softly down to the earth. There was an ethereal glow to the plant life all around. A soft breeze whispered, almost like a tiny voice. Cloud closed his eyes, listening. He wanted to hear her voice one last time. He’d take anything, a word, a laugh, a cry or even an angry shout. But nothing came.
“Cloud?” A familiar voice ruined the serenity of the sacred location.
Cloud gave no answer, but he raised his head as acknowledgement.
“Why do you come here by yourself?” There was a shuffle of movement beside him.
“Hm…Because it’s a burden I must carry alone, Tifa.” he finally managed; his voice was hoarse and dry.
“But it wasn’t your fault!” The woman shouted. Cloud cringed at the sound of her voice. He could tell that she was upset, probably had been crying even.
“I could’ve stopped it.”
“No you couldn’t! Cloud, can you control the rain?” She leaned forward, Cloud turned his head away from her.
“What…what do you mean?”
“Can you control the weather? Can you control the seasons? Can you control the wars that happen around us and on the other side of the planet?” Tifa placed a hand on his shoulder. Cloud shuddered.
“No…”
“You have no control over other people’s actions. Please, go home…” Tifa’s voice was suddenly very soft and kind, almost like it was another’s.
“I know Tifa…” Cloud breathed in. The smell of flowers surrounded him.
“What do you know?” Tifa sounded. Her tone wasn’t as sweet as before and the scent was gone.
Cloud lifted his head. That voice hadn’t been Tifa’s. There was a flicker of pink highlighted in the ripples in the water. Cloud smiled and he knew he heard the few words he had come to the Ancient City for.
“I know that I’ve been wasting so much time, and it’s about time I did go home.” Cloud stood, grabbing Tifa’s hand.
“What, what just happened?” The woman asked, confused. She didn’t mind the gentle tug he gave as he dragged her to his motorcycle.
3.) Super Marios Bros. 2: Overworld by. The Advantage
Listening to the jazz music, Cloud tapped his foot. He danced with his head, bobbing it ever so slightly to the tune emitting from the juke box. Tifa watched as he tapped his finger against the bottle in his hand. She couldn’t help the smile that crossed her face. She scrubbed the dishes, watching the man who sat alone in her quiet bar. It was after hours but Tifa wasn’t going to say anything. She rather enjoyed watching the spiky haired man as he silently consumed his fifth bottle of the hour.
4.) Mother of the World by. Constance Demby.
Tifa sat at her windowsill, staring at the glowing full moon. The pale light reflected off her face, giving her an angelic look in the darkness of her bedroom.
“He knows.” Vincent’s words were low.
“It’s his own fault.” Tifa barely whispered her words of hate.
“ Perhaps you should talk to him.” The dark man suggested to her. Tifa turned her head, her mouth turned downward in a frown.
“And what should I say, Vincent!?” She clenched her tiny fists. “Hi, Cloud! Good to see you! How long’s it been? A week? A month!?”
“Tifa-.”
“Oh, by the way, while you were out doing God knows what, I found comfort in one of your friends! Someone who’s been there more for me over the past few days than you have in my lifetime!” The tears came to her eyes. “And, after only that short amount of time, I found so much more comfort with him than I ever have with you that we slept together!”
Vincent cleared his throat, turning his gaze somewhere else. Tifa surely was an angel of darkness, just like he was.
“Tifa, he’ll hear you.”
“It’s too late.” A voice interrupted their conversation. Tifa and Vincent turned their heads simultaneously to the doorway. Cloud stood stiffly, the pale moonlight cast over him, but his hair hid his face. “I already heard enough.” He turned away and headed back down the stairs.
5.) Moon and Cello by. Piana.
Tifa danced slowly in the leaves as they fell in shades of yellow and red. It was like dancing in a solid flame of color, but it was cold rather than hot. She jumped up, trying to catch a few of the leaves as they fell from the dying trees all around. Autumn was always her favorite season.
Her white scarf tugged gently at her neck as another gust of wind darted across the land; it tangled with her dark chocolate colored hair. It looked like swirled candy, marshmallow in hot chocolate, whipped cream in a mocha latte. The young woman giggled as tons more of the foliage fell atop her. She was enjoying herself too much to notice the stare of glowing blue eyes of a man upon her.
“Cute.” Was all he could say to describe the scene.
6.) Any Other Name by. Thomas Newman.
Cloud stared, goose bumps on his skin, at the man before him covered in crimson. How could he still be alive? After everything Cloud had fought for, how could he be here?
Cloud’s eyes fell to the body lying on the floor a few feet away from him.
“Tifa…” He held out a shaky hand to the broken female.
“She can’t hear you, Cloud.” The tone sent shivers down his spine, almost seizure like. Sephiroth swiped down the length of his blade, droplets of red showered the ground.
“Seph….Sephiroth.” Cloud squeaked. His view of Tifa was interrupted by black boots that slowly approached him. His whole body ached. The wooden floor seemed unbelievably hard. He could feel the splinters cutting into his skin. He could feel his blood pouring from his wounds and watched as it seeped between the floorboards.
“She’s gone now.” Sephiroth’s voice echoed in his mind. “And soon, you will be too.”
7.) The Sound of Peace by. John Fluker.
“Meteor’s coming…” Cloud murmured.
“I know.” Tifa replied.
The two sat outside. Cloud watched the giant rock in the sky, red light flooding across him and his companion. Tifa, however, refused to look.
“We haven’t much time.” Cloud sighed. “Tomorrow… we have to move in.”
“But…” Tifa clenched her kneecaps, her feet turning inward on themselves as all her muscles tightened.
“Having second thoughts?” Cloud finally looked down at her. It only made the woman more nervous.
“What if we can’t stop him?” Tifa lowered her head, she hated sounding so weak.
“What if we do?” Cloud smirked.
“What if we do and nothing happens, Meteor still crashes into the planet?” She retorted.
“Well… then I guess we all die…” Cloud frowned.
“I don’t want to die tomorrow.” Tifa let out a shaky breath.
“You won’t die.” Cloud shook his head in refusal.
“How do you know?” The woman held onto herself. “Aerith died… Sephiroth killed her.”
She gasped as Cloud’s arms pulled her in close to his chest. Her face was burning with embarrassment. Since when was Cloud so positive and so, so touchy-feely?
“Because, I won’t let it happen. I’m who I am. I’m Cloud. I know who I am now. I won’t let Sephiroth control me any longer. I won’t let him take advantage of me and I definitely won’t let him get to you.” He dropped his glinting blue eyes onto hers.
“Cloud…” her voice was but a whisper.
“And that is a promise.”
8.) Lady of the Moon by. 2002
“I think they’re cute.” Tifa giggled quietly to herself.
“What?” Cloud said with more than a hint of agitation to his voice. He glanced over his daily newspaper, his brows rising in gesture.
“You know.” Tifa sauntered over to the table, her hips giving a little dance as she bent over and rested her elbows on the table. She giggled again and pointed a finger at his face. “Your glasses.”
“Aw Jeez, Tifa.” Cloud buried his head back into his reading material.
“Aw jeez, Cloud.” Tifa mocked him. She slid slowly to his side of the table, pulling the paper down.
Cloud turned his head toward her. He immediately blushed as he was sitting and Tifa was standing and she was awfully close to him and his line of sight was directly at her chest. And of all days to get so close to him, she decided to wear her low cut shirt. She leaned forward, resting her hands on her knees so her face was even with his.
“They’re cute.” She gave him a mischievous smile and tugged the glasses from his face. Cloud hadn’t even created a thought before she pressed her lips against his in a quick kiss.
“But, you’re way cuter.” She winked and returned to her bar to set up for the day.
9.) Ciney’s Theme by. Fiona Joy Hawkins.
“Oh my God I’m so nervous.” Tifa smoothed out her dress.
“Stop worrying about it!” Yuffie fought with the bobby pins in Tifa’s hair.
“You look fine!” Shera agreed.
“You ladies jes fuss way too much.” Cid leaned against the doorway, watching the ladies chat and giggle like little girls.
“Oh Cid! Maybe if you had a single romantic bone in your body you would be nervous too!” Yuffie scowled.
“Well hell, I’d be nervous if I was getting married to Cloud!” Cid shrugged.
“Ohhhhh!!!” Tifa groaned. “I’m getting married!!!” She started breathing heavily. Yuffie snatched the brown paper bag from off the nearby table.
“Cid!” Shera folded her arms. “Now look at what you did! Why don’t you go help Cloud?”
“She can beat the hell outta any Jenova clone, chase after Sephiroth and save the planet but she can’t wear a cotton-pickin’ dress and walk down a damn aisle. I swear…” Cid rolled his eyes as he strolled from the room. “I’ll never understand you women.”
10.) Nocturne by. Secret Garden.
“I’m sorry.” Cloud murmured. He was still soaking wet from the rain outside.
“You always say that.” Tifa returned with just as much enthusiasm.
“Because I’m always wrong.” He shrugged. “I just don’t know what to say anymore.”
“How ‘bout the truth.” Tifa glared up at him.
“…” Cloud turned his head to the side. He couldn’t stand it when she gave him that look. It just made him feel worse. “What do you mean?” he played dumb.
“Ugh!” Tifa threw up her arms. “Don’t you get it, Cloud!?” she screamed. “You’re never there! You’re never here for Denzel, Marlene, me! What kind of family are we? I feel like I have three children!”
“I’m sorry.” He repeated.
“I’m leaving.” She turned on her heel, her hair whipping around with her.
“No, not again!” Cloud grabbed her wrist.
Tifa waited. She waited one last time.
“ Please… I’m nothing without you. You’re all I have left.”
“So I’m just leftovers?” She tugged away from his reach.
“You didn’t let me finish. You’re all I want and need. You keep me sane.” He wrapped his arms around her from behind.“ Please stay… and let me love you.”
Tifa trembled. After much thought, she decided that maybe she’d stay, but only this one last time… like she told herself the last four times.

they also left it a mess and didnt clean so were behind, cleaning and fixing the crap the broke before they left oh and guess this, theyve been shitheads this whole time and the dude is a preacher! yeah... theres a special place in hell for someone i tell ya! its not that big of a deal, theres nothing seriously wrong with the house or anything, jes little things. now marcus is going to try to get a better job, i hope he gets it cause he'll get paid almost twice as much. my classes are starting soon to teach, festivals coming up and ive got lots to do and i have contest pieces due by next week! ahh!
